We do one thing: get a senior specialist to read your file and write down what they think.
Opinion 2nd is [[LEGAL_ENTITY]], a company registered in [[JURISDICTION]]. We arrange written expert medical reviews of records people already hold, carried out by senior consultants at leading hospitals in India.
The gap we are trying to fill.
When someone is given a serious diagnosis and a plan to go with it, the reasonable next thought is: has someone else looked at this? In most health systems that turns out to be difficult. Getting a genuinely independent senior specialist to sit down with the whole file — the scans, the tissue reports, the letters — and write down how they read it is either slow, expensive, or simply not offered.
India has a large pool of consultants in active hospital practice who do this work at a cost that puts it within reach. What was missing was the boring part: collecting the records properly, matching the case to the right specialist, handling health data lawfully across borders, and returning something written plainly enough to be useful to a family and precisely enough to be useful to a clinician.
That boring part is our whole job.
Four commitments we hold ourselves to.
We publish the price
Both fees are on the pricing page and on the home page. You do not have to hand over your details to find out what something costs.
We name the specialist
Before your case is read, you know who will read it, where they practise, and what their registration number is. The report is signed.
We do not claim outcomes
No statistics, no survival figures, no stories about the case we allegedly caught. A written opinion is either useful to you and your doctor or it is not, and we are not in a position to promise which.
We say no when we should
If the records cannot support a useful review, or the question is not one a file review can answer, we say so and refund the fee in full.
Who is involved, and in what capacity.
-
The company
[[LEGAL_ENTITY]], company number [[COMPANY_NUMBER]], registered office [[REGISTERED_ADDRESS]]. The company arranges and administers reviews. It does not itself practise medicine.
-
The reviewing specialists
Senior consultants in active hospital practice in India, engaged case by case and named to you before you commit. They are registered with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council in India. They are not registered with, or regulated by, the medical regulator in your country. See the panel.
-
The case managers
Non-clinical staff who collect the records, check the file is complete, match the case to a specialty and keep you informed. A case manager does not form a view on your case and does not write any part of the report.
-
The India pathway
Where someone decides they want to pursue hospital admission in India, we coordinate the arrangements: hospital correspondence, scheduling, visa letters and logistics. It is quoted separately from the review, and a review never obliges anyone to take it further.
This is not an emergency service
Nothing here is monitored around the clock and a review takes days. If your situation is urgent, contact your local emergency number or the doctor treating you.
What a report is, and is not
A report is a second reading of records you already hold, written for you to discuss with your own doctor. It does not replace, override or second-guess the clinician treating you, and it does not direct your medical management.
